Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive complex cardiac procedures such as the Hybrid Maze for treatment of atrial fibrillation, mitral valve repair and replacement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement as well as VATS lobectomy for the treatment of lung cancer. Dr. Dunnington received his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency at Stanford University where he also served as Chief Resident of Surgery. In addition, he also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Virginia. When he is not at the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his 12 labrador retrievers and his family. His brand, Dogfarm produces olive oil and delicious wines. 

Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in aortic surgery both open and endovascular, coronary surgery, valve repair and replacement and ECMO. Dr. Kime received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his internship and residencies at University of Southern California where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident for Integrated Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dedicated to his field, Dr. Kime is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and has engaged in research and academics with articles, editorials and poster presentations. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and all that Napa Valley has to offer.

Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with an advanced aortic surgery skillset including surgical management of aortic dissections and aneurysms with open and hybrid techniques. Dr. Swami received his medical degree from Northwestern University at the Feinberg School of Medicine and completed extensive residencies and fellowships at Northwestern University, Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Heart Institute, Houston Methodist Hospital and Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He also completed two research fellowships at Stanford University. 

Greg is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is passionate about patient care from admission to the operating room and through follow up. He performs many specialty tasks including chest tube placement and removal, endoscopic vein harvesting and assisting in all of our operations. He is an asset to our team, bringing decades of experience as well as compassion for our patients. Greg enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family. 

Nora is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiothoracic surgery. She completed her PA training at USC's Keck School of Medicine and started her career at Keck Hospital of USC in Los Angeles. working in cardiac surgery with the esteemed Dr. Vaughn Starnes. She later moved to Chicago and did both adult and congenital heart surgery through the University of Chicago. Nora is passionate about working in the operating room and specializes in endoscopic vein and artery harvest. She is a native of California and grew up in the Bay Area. She is married with a son and is happy to be back in California and near her family. 

Michaela wears many hats for our team. She has years of experience from the Heart and Vascular Unit to emergency management and she understands the value of compassionate care. She is the coordinator for our Afib Program and ensures patients are healthy and happy years after surgery. She is the administrator for Grapevine CTS, as well as maintaining our research efforts. She is continuing her education to complete her RN-BSN. In her free time, she competes in triathlons and enjoys traveling.
